motivated owner demanding a ninety-day timeline for reopening under a lifestyle flag.

Task
Create and execute an abbreviated, brand approved, critical path encompassing design
and construction, procurement, marketing, and training in a remote location with significant
logistical challenges. Subsequent execution of “Day 2” projects post opening.
Action
Create a project timeline and resource requirements with clear milestones and
contingency plans for any potential delays. Work on site to ensure no slippage of deliverables,
with margins maintained for potential delays related to production and importation of goods
including art and artifacts program. Identify and resolve risks immediately to protect the project
and ensure consensus on deliverables is maintained. Coordinate substantial brand and
management team presence in final runup to opening date and grand opening events.
Result
Highly successful opening with all objectives delivered in near perfect sequence with
very little time to spare. Hotel performance since is strong and award winning.
